Tree By-Laws

Salerno Lake does have some of the most beautiful trees! Let's work together to preserve them.

Did you know? The County of Haliburton has enacted a Shoreline Tree Preservation By-law No.3505 in an effort to protect the shoreline areas within the County. The By-law was identified as a priority by residents during a review of the County’s Official Plan in 2010.
